COLOURS of Edinburgh is partnering up with To Yemen With Love to bring you our first ever Yemeni Short Film Festival, "Stories Behind the Shells".

The aim of the festival is to inform audiences of the crisis in Yemen, the world's largest man-made humanitarian crisis, and raise money for Yemen Aid US. They provide much needed humanitarian assistance and resources to the Yemeni people, regardless of race, political affiliation, ancestry or religion.

We will be screening 12 short films provided by Comra Films - أفلام قُمرة & Sufian Abulohom - Yemeni organisations and filmmakers mostly based in Yemen. The short films tell stories of Yemenis, how they are coping with the current situation and how their lives are continuing hopelessly under the shelling.

Expect a mix of informative documentaries and creatively fueled stories from Yemen.

On the last screening on Sunday the 31st of March at 6pm, we will be inviting the audience for a Q&A with Amal Azzudin from Glasgow Girls and our very own Moh Al-Haifi, to talk about the #ToYemenWithLove event & campaign in collaboration with Yemen Aid.
