About the Role

DEPARTMENT: GROWTH & PARTNERSHIPS

We are a group of students & recent graduates creating a platform for Scotland’s Refugees to share their voice through art. Through a research-driven educational campaign, we use our online presence and creative events to raise awareness in the local community about what it means to be a refugee, with the vision of a welcoming and accepting society.

 

We are looking for a Partners and Sponsorships Manager to work with the Growth & Partnerships Lead and Board in strategising and managing our partnerships and sponsorships efforts for COLOURS 2019 - 2020. The successful candidate will be working in a loose team of 3 dedicated, skillful and highly motivated volunteers. The ideal candidate should be comfortable networking, building relationships, and with some knowledge of branding strategy.

  • Research and attend networking events on behalf of COLOURS to scout and create more partnerships and potential sponsors

  • Build relationships with potential partners (e.g. refugee and third sector organisations & community groups)

  • Create, submit, and track applications for corporate sponsorship opportunities

  • Create branding documentation and presentation materials to present to potential partners and sponsors

  • Working with the Communication & Fundraising Director (as well as the Growth & Partnership Lead and Growth & Operations Director) in creating the Partners and Sponsorship strategy/plan
